- The integration can handle critical and recovery failure alert notifications for the following two cases when the user enables App Failure Notifications in the configuration:
- Connectivity Exception
- Authentication Exception
- The integration uses the provided IP address/hostname, credentials for API communications.
- The integration sends any duplicate/repeat failure alert notification for every 6 hours.
- The integration can’t control monitoring pause/resume actions based on above alerts.
- Metrics can be used to monitor HPE Cray ClusterStor resources and can generate alerts based on the threshold values.
- Component level thresholds can be configured on each resource level.
- Latest snapshot metric support from Gateway 14.0.0.
- This integration is not compatible with Cluster Gateway.
- For the HPE Cray ClusterStor Server Interface, the system displays IP Address and MAC Address under Custom Attributes to avoid resource reconciliation.
- Monitoring is not supported for the following native resource types:
- HPE Cray ClusterStor
- HPE Cray ClusterStor Chassis
- HPE Cray ClusterStor Storage Pool
- The system exhibits different responses between E1000 and E2000 Series for HPE Cray ClusterStor, creating two scenarios:
- Upgrade from E1000 to E2000 Series:
- If resources were originally discovered with the E1000 series and the device is upgraded to the E2000 series, then—if a rediscovery happens either through discovery schedule if any or through on-demand discovery actions from UI—the existing resources of native types HPE Cray ClusterStor and HPE Cray ClusterStor Lustre File System will be deleted and rediscovered due to a change in the resource uniqueness.
- Furthermore, if the application is then upgraded to version 1.0.1 or later, the resources will again be deleted and rediscovered because the uniqueness definition changes once more.
- Upgrade already discovered E2000 to Application Version 1.0.1 or Later:
- The system deletes and rediscovers resources when you upgrade the application directly from E1000 series to version 1.0.1 or later.
